To
qualify for full coverage by PA Diversity Network and in
the Valley Gay Press, the board of your organization must
formally agree to the below statement.
Dear Organization Board Members,
In an effort to establish a base of people and
organizations who are against unfair discrimination, PA
Diversity Network, the Valley Free Press and other
concerned citizens are asking the boards of Greater Lehigh
Valley and Berks County organizations to affirm by vote or
consensus, this statement:
We believe it would improve the quality of life in the
Lehigh Valley and Berks County, if all people were legally
protected from unfair discrimination based upon (actual or
perceived): race, color, religion, national origin,
ancestry or place of birth, sex, sexual orientation, gender
identity, marital status, family status, age, handicap or
disability, or use of a guide animal, in the areas of
employment, housing, and public accommodation.
Please let us know if your board has agreed to the
“statement of anti-discrimination” by mailing,
emailing, or faxing us a statement similar to the one
below.
An “Honor Roll” list of organizations that have
formally approved this statement will appear in the Valley
Gay Press each month. If you have questions or need further
information, please call PDN at 610-432-5449, email us:
lbradbury@padiversity.org.
Thanks for your support,
Liz Bradbury, Executive Vice President PA-Diversity Network
